I'm pretty sure that photo is the first showing the glass on the residential portion - not the sky lobby / amenity level.

Post #5212 shows cladding on the same level as the UT update you provided. Did you see that page?

The highest floor on the office building is the sky lobby. You can tell because the floor to ceiling height is ridiculous.

Riveting. Was this the first image posted of residential glass or not? I wish this was a book so I could flip to the end.

The glass is promising. So far, It keeps the flow with the office curtainwall.

Not sure what's going on there then.

Also, holy smokes! The Bay Park Centre's really rising.

Here...this is what I posted 4 days ago....I shrank the photo now incase that was the issue Frank. The whole reason it was larger was because I wanted to show the residential glass a bit better.

Looks like the residential portion is curtain wall.

Quick update (Soliel/sun/water towers)

On a bus at Six points, I noticed a uniquq glance of the Etobicoke waterfront skyline, and the tallest towers going up in Etobicoke are taller than the Jade project (http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=81054)

4. Eau du Soleil - Sky Tower (Toronto): 228.2m / 749ft...these towers are at least 440 feet in the air. Their presence is really growing.

10 York is finally starting to look alright, the angles will improve once the crane is gone.

I must agree there.....it's form is now starting to look quite unique now that the project is nearing completion.

10 York would be an interesting building if it were in another location. Since it's wedged between an elevated highway and its offramp, you can't really interact with it as a pedestrian except along its blunt edge (York). Also, the four storey podium it sits on is pretty lame and incongruous with the skyscraper portion, but none of this matters because, again, its pedestrian surroundings are more or less the worst in downtown Toronto, and the podium is hidden by the Gardiner.

Not only the ground setting its also bunched up by too many towers as well.

I agree however, there's no more off ramp. The south side is completely exposed with enough room for street trees. I'm not a fan of the wedge's point either. A balcony was a poor choice.
