Sydney is completely irrelevant to Salesforce's office in Toronto.

I'll give the low vacancy some credit. However, the looming threat of a global recession has deflated the tech bubble in the past few months. This continues the fly by nights are going to run out of money and others will be forced to trim costs. Add the global recession and the vacancy rate could rise considerably by this time next year. I'll guess they have six months to land a lead tenant otherwise this will sit a long time.

Edit
whoops. keep doing that.

I hate it when those numbers get used. It should be based on from ground to roof. Otherwise this city inn Bolivia could claim to have the most supertalls on the planet.

El Alto Bolivia
Elevation4,150 m (13,620 ft)

Look at all of those mega talls!

I do appreciate the layered facade. I don't care for the random box heights. I know It's a secret code and I'm not in on it! I like the balconies. The positions are again random and not in an design enhancing way. It's a Frankenstein monster how it related to The late modernist office block.

I'd like it a lot more as a standalone tower. The glass slab on top of the existing office should be integrated better. Going from thin, modernist windows to full-height, condo podium-style like that is abrupt.

I think it's one saving grace is it's on the north east block so visually from Bay street it won't appear to change the look of the Bell building too much.

Just seems pointless to further densify this block....I can't say much on the design for it seems more preliminary than anything serious.

This is Toronto, you don't need a point other than it being a good location to sell condos. Old city hall is surely next... then we might as well do new city hall as well.
