300 main should be a fairly easy erection and dis-assembly.

They could also bring in one of the Sikorsky Sky crane Helicopters like was used to lift the CBC digital transmission tower to the top of the Richardson Bldg a few years ago.

It usually requires a one day parking ban in the area (wind dependent) unlike the few days using a conventional crane will take for setup and tear down after the pick is completed.

Thought the same thing, haha. The renders show the wavy parts finished either in wood or something similar to the orange cladding, should look really cool.

It's remarkable how the renders are legit exact depictions of the final product so far, to a T.

Another milestone week, with the removal of the last tower crane on site at True North Square! This temporary crane has been installed on Graham to disassemble it, piece by piece.

Wow....Its huge.......

Yeah, once all the buildings are finished, this cluster should be bustling.

The TNS logos have been changed on the website. Icon is mostly the same (rounder) but the font is completely knew, with orange incorporated.

This likely means that they're in the process (or well on the way) of creating marketing materials, and we could see lease marketing materials come out any time now.

From what I can see in the cam and my vantage point on the opposite side of the square. They made quick work of the tower crane. Looks like the boom and cab are down and they're dismantling the tower part.

I keep wasting time instead of working. Went back and watched the fly-through video again... there's some gems in there.

There's a nice big entrance to the Tower 2 residential on Carlton facing west. There's also at least one CRU fronting Graham, at the Carlton corner of Tower 2 – they show it as a coffee shop with a patio right at the corner.

I think they're supposed to start FH of the year but we're almost past that. Maybe once Tower 1 is complete?

The projects of Tower 1 and 2 are separate from the Northland Properties (Sutton) project. They fall under the same True North Square umbrella but are unrelated regarding construction schedules. When ever Northland Properties is ready to go, they will dig. Hopefully within a month or so.

I noticed a variance sign sitting on the fencing for the Sutton site. Sorry I didn't get a chance to read the notice closely.

Also it appears that Sutton has brought there own trailer (see last pic above) onto the site.

I have a column coming out Monday about the plaza and ground level treatment of TNS. Sutton place will start construction within the month I was told.

One cool piece is that Graham will be raised to the level of the sidewalk between the arena and the square. A table top to make it a seamless transition. Slow bus traffic. Cudos to transit and the city for allowing that.

Good to hear about the hotel!

How many Jets fans will TN Square hold, 2000-3000? And the city contributed how many million to the glorified breezeway?

Such negative emotions you have lol

I’m pretty sure those millions will be outweighed by the massive tax dollars True North gives back to the city. Try and think big picture.
