It does seem that the young 20 year olds consume a lot less than folks my age did. Honestly it's probably for the better.

As a young person who is finishing grad school and was an undergrad student not too long ago, my experience was that one of the biggest issues is that going out/drinking is simply too expensive. There are other activities for young people that are a fraction of the cost
