Believe it or not, in 1996 I was working on the rails fixing them up to get ready for reuse. 23 years later, still nothing. So don’t hold your breath.

It’s neither the photographer, nor the equipment. It’s the subject.

I think a recent inky article said the 12-story high hotel is 160 ft tall. Slated to open at the end of 2020. Link to new interior renders of the casino and hotel room:

https://www.bizjournals.com/philadel...-district.html

Article behind paywall, so I didn't get the details of the future expansion. Any one able to read it and summarize it or quote the details. Thanks.

Oh, Cordish Companies' twitter account has some pics from the topping off event.

The wraps at the site say "Coming Winter 2020" - seems to be a bit ambitious?

Good video of the topping off ceremony. Really shows the scale of the project.

Between a new downtown hotel and the association to Las Vegas development. This casino developer should represent a strong relation to the economic growth management schedule.

I know it's not a destination like Vegas or anything but that hotel seems too small, all the sports events, concerts, casino guests etc, its seems like this thing is going to be a bit too small during peak summer months...

There's a 212-room Marriott across I-95 next to the Stadium. I'm sure as things further develop at the Stadium, as a proposed office bldg was announced late last year (IIRC), there an opportunity to include mix-used to include a hotel component to that office proposal if demand warrants it.
