According to this website, the Alt Hotel Saskatoon is slated to open in 2018.
18 months to get a 15 storey building framed and furnished? to me thats pretty fast, is this a reasonable timeline? unless theres 1 crane for each highrise

^You mean people aren't going to be moving into Capital Pointe by the end of 2018?!?

for things like this wish we were, 18 months isnt possible with 1 crane lol, cant see us having 2 going at the same time. I think ALT needs to update the site to 2019. Correct me if im wrong though....
So did a real quick swing by the site there today. Looks like they have something being built in th hole now. They are still digging so I dont know what it could be. Maybe a sump pit?
Drove by this aft. Noticed 2 red sections for a crane. Im assuming theyll be laying concrete to hold the base in????
Should start seeing this project really move forward now with the spring season here.
Nice to see the project progressing, nice addition to Saskatoon, in Winnipeg we have a big project called True North Square going full bore and in Regina a deep hole is still being dug two years in now!
It would appear from the pics of the "dig", that the parkade will only be under the condo portion of the condo/hotel build. Is that right? I had assumed the parkade would extend under both, but does not appear that way.
Can't wait to see the crane as I drive over the Senator Buckwold Bridge!

do you know when the east tower is going to start? MVA site said something about it being approved? it would be exciting to see 3 towers going up at once

love seeing this progress
The plan is to see the East Tower going into the ground later this summer. We should be able to look forward to having 3 towers underway on site at the same time.
