But it's not the railyards. The general Regina construction or existing Mosaic Stadium thread makes more sense. IMO anyway.

Has any one else seen this before, I know Saskatoon is also planning this but this setback item might be a problem.

It was discussed when the news comes out. It's a bunch of whining. It'll be mitigated by a berm and meets the regulations.

There are so many condo towers right next to rail tracks in Toronto and GO Train tracks right next to houses lol. Regina is fine.

The entire town of Melville is within that setback distance of their rail yard.

I wish the section of land just south of the rail line and north of Saskatchewan drive from Albert Street to the Post Office was also included in the redevelopment plans.

There are preliminary proposals floating around that include land south the CP line.

Excavators were on site yesterday digging straight south-north trenches across the property that seem to line up with the back alleys north of Dewdney.

Finally. That stretch of Dewdney is one of the ugliest roads in the city. I'm amazed it took the city this long to propose landscaping it considering it's supposed to be the city's main "bar strip"
