I'll have to take a trip downtown one day soon it seems. I haven't been through in a few weeks. Looks good.

The crane right now tops out at 216ft. this crane is visible from the airport. There is another 152 ft. Before the museum tops out. Which means when completed the Tower of Hope will be completely visible from the airport and other vantage points around the city.... What a collosal giant!!!!

Wow... thanks for the link to that clip. I always envisioned the museum to be very large, but it seems as though it's going to be absolutely colossal in scope. The Tower or Hope is going to be neat if only because we don't have any high level platforms from which people can look out in this city, outside of perhaps Fort Garry Plaza, but it's not exactly a public place that every Joe and Jane can frequent.

Winnipegers, you are lucky!

Is the restaurant on that bridge still a Salisbury house? I think a high end restaurant would have been a wiser choice with that view.

For what its worth .. its the nicest Salsbury house I have ever seen, but at the time it was the only restaurant interested in being on the bridge.

Maybe after the museum is finished others will be interested.

I dunno, it will probably be good for the Sals when the Museum opens. They will get much busier.
