Gotta be getting close. It's up to nearly the same height as the other building.

Driving north over the Osborne Bridge has the view of this project and the Inuit Art Museum changing the skyline there pretty dramatically. Really wanted to take a picture today but well, I was driving.

I drove by yesterday for the first time in a while. I like it. The angles and such are quite striking from the ground.

Wow that went up quick! I guess because they went the poured in place concrete route and didn't have to wait around for suppliers to bring steel and hollow core in.

The unusual footprint makes this building interesting, but the lack of windows gives it a bit of a telephone switching building vibe.

Its funny lack of windows is used to describe this building yet the south facade has 100+ alone.

Lots of windows but there's still way more wall than glass. And a lot of them look about as big as a pizza box...

Why is this building so ugly? Was it designed on a shoestring budget, or does someone actually think it looks nice?

I don't know anymore. I still think it could definitely use more windows (or even larger windows) but it's sort of growing on me. Would have been an instant hit for me with more windows but meh...I guess we can't win 'em all.
