From Free Press, so looks like the retail presence will be downgraded with Ceridian taking over the 3rd floor as previously mentioned in this thread.

Ceridian to move into True North Square
01/11/2019 12:25 PM
Ceridian, the payroll and human-resources software company, has announced it will become the newest tenant in True North Square's 242 Hargrave office building.

The company and its 200 employees, now operating out of a building at the corner of Garry Street and York Avenue, will take 28,000 square feet — the entire third floor — of the 365,000-square-foot, 17-storey building.

Ceridian joins the law firm Thompson Dorfman Sweatman, Scotiabank and the accounting firm MNP, as anchor tenants in the building.

True North Square is a mixed-use development that will feature over one million square feet of office, hotel, residential, retail and parking in four towers. There is also a public plaza.

^ Fine by me. It would be nice if the activity TNS generates spilled over to existing retail hubs nearby... most notably storefronts along Graham Ave. and Portage Ave., but hell, even CityPlace's retail levels could use a little shot in the arm.

I'm also all for them maximizing this building for offices and allowing the surrounding existing retail/commercial buildings pick up the slack. Either way, 200 more people concentrated smack into the middle of the SHED is great news!

Wow, after taking ~ six months to insulate, the final cladding(?) of the east side of 225 Carlton was installed in less than two days! The panels look terrific.

^I've been watching both ends of the residential tower, and yes they've moved at a snails pace with the insulating. Still section on the west side that have no waterproofing membrane.

This was the first week where it really felt like the site for towers 3 and 4 was going full bore with the construction. It's nice to see... looks like things have really ramped up on that site.

Yup, all kinds of activity over there. The piling has lightened up today. There was another crane out there before, they were digging. lots going on.

It's just a protective sheet stuck to the panels that gets removed in the last step, and so goes really quickly.

Strange triangle piling arrangement in that top right corner. Glad to see things finally moving. More to come...

^ the steel you are seeing is likely the vertical supports for the perimeter shoring they will need to install around the perimeter before they start digging out the site.

Will there be any re-cladding involved?

^^^I haven't seen the plans but I wouldn't think so. Given their history on Colony Square (Paint) and the fact that they wouldn't spend money and effort to punch out the pre-cast windows only to re-clad the building. Punching out the pre-cast must already be costing a pretty penny.
