Selfie Guy came to our weekend street party - without Sophie! We could tell that something was up by all the cops and Matrix guys in attendance.

6$ beer- 20$ bill - "Keep the change"

Hands off beer to PM's Personal Beer Finisher. I asked if he was hiring - he laughed.

"Selfie Guy". I had a good chuckle.

I was on the edge of some brand new suburbia in Kettle Valley yesterday. While Kelowna is making some smart moves downtown, it's still rapidly expanding outwards.

All the city vs city hotheads are in a rage! That last photo is out of bounds . . . a cheater! Any city, even poor little Montréal, looks good from that angle.

I love that St. John's is so close to seemingly raw nature that you can take a picture like this...

This evening we went for ice cream at Moo Moo's and then to a comedy show at Factory.

^Bro....I've never been to Factory...is that the kind of grunge feel that place has there? That's awesome. It reminds me of CBTG's and my days, many years ago, of attending punk shows there, going upstairs to their bar-cade, and pissing in a bathroom full of graffiti and drugs. Very nice.

Well, I'm not sure if it's going to keep the name Factory. It JUST changed owners, days ago. So I don't know who owns the rights to what.

But yeah, it's always been a grungy place but "poser-y" if you're in that scene. Like, I can count on one hand the number of times I've ended up at CBTG's, you know me, and what I'm into. But I've been in Factory 1,000 times.

It's always been something - a gay bar, a speed dating bar, an artist bar, a live music bar, etc. - that was niche enough to be cool, but approachable enough that about 25% of the patrons have always been informed teenage girls.

That's Factory. A stepping stone to the underworld. A place where cool people go to drop their facade and relax for a night, and where the rest of us go to feel cool.

You need to stop doing stuff like this. It just isn't fair.

Thank you for a wonderful tour of the city.
