God dammit Winnipeg Grump! Would it kill you to update the Sutton, Wawanesa, RWB projects with a little construction pic's.

My apologies...I'm a little off with the Jets sucking so FUCKING much.

...anyways. I am curious as to what the finished product was regarding the waterproofing type installation going on in the SW corner of the Sutton site (along St Mary's). You could just describe it with words if you want, whatever is best for you.

Thank you WG.

I wonder how the RWB expansion is going to look when done... carbon copy of the existing building, or a more current design?
The fact that they are keeping it secret leads me to believe that the final product will be underwhelming. If they are building something that they were proud of they would be marketing it to prospective students. Their website makes no mention of it at all. Maybe I'm missing something here but it seems very strange.

You are the best!

Strange they waterproofed that one small section.

Residence looking good. Seems like an atrium in the middle.

Dig, baby, dig on Wawanesa.

^ The atrium at RWB is a nice touch, it will compliment the atrium space in the existing building.

Looks like it is coming together nicely. I love the first phase of the development. The courtyard is gorgeous.

Looks like they uncovered some old shoring posts from the old building that was there, they will have to be cut as they are in the way

^^^Good catch. That seems unfortunate and I would imagine time consuming.

Could those be from the old but still rather new building that was there or from whatever was there 3 decades ago. They definately don'took like modern ones although they still are steal.

In saying that. What was there before the RBC residency. As that one building was only what 25 years old or so. I do remember someone posting a vintage photo of that block once.

I know TNS lots was the bus depot but the other lot I have forgotten.

Those steel beams appear to be hammered in the wrong direction to act as shoring posts.

Update of the RWB residence facade from earlier today...

Looks like they're doing stucco, hopefully, it will compliment the existing facade, however, I do like the form that's emerging!

Wasn't that lot the parking lot for the old Aberdeen hotel before the RWB took over the land?

They were pouring concrete the other day on the exterior.

Optical illusion or is the roof/beam really curved here?

It's a peak in the roof. You won't see it once the parapet is in place.
