New York has a lot of tourists visiting the observation decks, in addition to just general photographers who want to get shots of the skyline. There will always be a lot of photos from places where there is a constant supply of people to take them.

I just got back from a long weekend in New York. I got to do some stuff that was on my checklist for a while. Crossed the Brooklyn Bridge. Finally got up to the Cloisters. And also got a lot of pics of One Vanderbilt, which I will definitely be going to when it opens.

Sounds like you had a great trip. I always recommend people take a walk across the BB. It's very crowded, but also very convenient to a lot of other sites.

That facade is great (1 Vandy). On a side note, Hudson Yards is just epic. And to think in the foreground relative to HY Phase I, we will see 8 more towers to come in phase II and two super talls (50 Hudson and Spiral) rising within that viewing angle.
