New York-based Park7 Group’s $90 million multifamily project slated for the corner of Craig Street and Centre Avenue received a unanimous vote by the Pittsburgh Planning Commission, enabling the company to push forward with the new 17-story project expected to total 326 apartments.
“We’re looking forward to getting started hopefully this summer,” said Paul Levine, an executive vice president for Park7, which is picking up a project formerly pursued by another developer on an overlapping site that died during the recession.
Working with Dallas-based Humphreys & Partners Architects LP, Park7’s project calls for a building that will extend up Centre from the corner at Craig and wrap 17 floors of apartment units around six floors of parking with 438 spaces.
