ok I threw or froze all of my prev designs and I'm starting over, so I've cancelled a business meeting, quit school, and didnt call the girl who could have been the one and is leaving just now back to Nevada, all just to present my complex on time.
Speaking of which one of the buildings might be a "SU Rehab Clinic"

Very nice Alek. I can see you put a lot of work an thought into that complex. I also like how you incorporate the enviroment with your buildings. Very nice work and design.

Convention Center Plaza

Here's my entry. It is located in Dallas TX,in the parking lot of the dallas convention center.obvoisly, the parking lot would be moved to a new location.

Anyway,heres what I got

Here is a basic overview, showing the complex basic structure and 2 main plazas.

Plaza 2 Has acces to tower 4 trough a indoor/outdoor hallway. It also has acces to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit(DART) station, which is the domed structure. The elevated grass area can be used for benches as a calm, relaxing area, for reading, walking your dog,bla bla bla.

Here is an overview of the complex's main building,or tower 1,A commercial office building.

Here is a view from the other plaza, which has acces to The main tower, tower 3,and the performing arts center, which is mainly visible in this picture. the roof of the center can be rented out by restraunts and retail.

The above is a picture of tower 4,which is used for a hotel and retail.

Her is a pic of the main tower byitself

looking up the main tower and tower 3

and finally,an Diagram styled shot

thank you for looking. I will get in more pictures soon

Good luck to all,And happy SSP'Ing!

The smallest one looks like I.M. PEi's Welld one. But the tallest one and the plaza are the jewels.
Wery Well laid out!! and obviously you manage your textures as perfectly as it gets
Should I post a teaser of mine of my most finished building?

i hate to ask this, because it's been pushed back so far already, but can you allow me until monday to post my entry? my grandmother died and i really don't think i'm going to get the chance this weekend. you have no idea how much i'd appreciate it - i've got most of it done, it just needs a little work and i doubt i'll have the time for it.

I decided to do something I didn't think anyone else would. A main sticking point with me was making sure that all of the buildings in the complex corresponded with each other, rather than having a couple of buildings that seemed unrelated to each other more or less. So, here it is (get ready for picture hell: I think there's almost 30 pictures here):

Aurora Boardwalk Hotel and Casino
Atlantic City, NJ

Aurora is located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk between Connecticut Ave and Massachusetts Ave:

Now for some individuals:

This is Tower Four in the complex. It stands at 15 stories (including the casino) and rises to 214'.

Tower Three is 24 stories and 330' including the casino.

This is Tower One, which is 26 stories and 372' including the casino.

This is Tower Two, which is 24 stories and 333' including the casino.

This is the parking garage, which has five levels and is 52' tall.

And finally, this is the observation tower, which stands and 1,158' and towers over the rest of Atlantic City, affording some of the best views around.

Thanks for looking!

Flyers! Just great, I really the style, it is very Atlantic City, the observation tower adds a googie touch.
Is the huge roof of the casino used in some way?
I gotta say that I share to some extent the concept of "familly of buildings" for this project, and the curved façades.

KUDOS!

PD: actually the only pic that makes hell outa the xprience is the first jpeg sate one.
PErhaps in the future we should begin converting them to PNG before posting'em.

all mine are png, jpg makes them very low quality.

if you're referring to the roof that goes over the boardwalk, it's there more or less for look.
