I can see why you've got a soft spot in your heart for the place hero. Most of it looks like it hasn't changed in 100 years. Beautiful old buildings. Thanks for the tour.

Pittsburgh or Cincinnati? Two gorgeous cities, especially after flat and perpendicular Chicago. Right now I'm siding with Pittsburgh. Great pictures as usual. I follow all your picture threads mrherodotus.

Pittsburgh has a light rail system called "The T." The three underground downtown stations are free, and then it runs at-grade on a couple routes through the South Side. Photos and info:

I don't come on here for a month, and then the first thread I see is a Pittsburgh one; wonderful! I'm enjoying life back in the UK, but looking at these pictures there's a part of me that wishes we'd bought that house in Pgh.
