Denver - 2nd Day mostly walking

2nd Day I got to walk for most of the morning! What I love about Denver is how much it has grown and to have seen 30 years of planning (have been going there since the early 80’s) coming into reality. It amazes me how Denver is more urban than cities twice its size. Way to go Denverites!
Starting from my friends place just north east of Cheese\man Park, will walk through the park and then head over to Colfax into downtown. Good morning Denver!

Thanks for sharing so many and very nice pictures!

I like Dever´s city planning. It looks very modern and wide. Nice buildings and parks.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

I never knew Denver had such nice density and bones. I had almost expected a sprawly city like Phoenix with a bigger downtown. I'd almost say Denver is a nicer-looking Calgary. I also really like that there are so many people out on bikes and it appears Denver has a bike share system! Nice pics, thanks!

damn that was comprehensive. <4gb ram need not attempt.

denver definitely rivals (or trumps) cities like my own, but even seems to compare favorably to a few larger metros north of it like seattle or minny. two things also surprised me here - how green it looks in these pics, and how nice the street level is of many of those otherwise nondescript office towers.

I live here and Denver is very "sprawly." The only real density is downtown and Capitol Hill.

Calgary's downtown is bigger and better.

GOOD TIMES! Oh, the nights of hanging out at Sanchos or Dulcineas every night till 2 and going to Goodtimes all drunk for a sloppy pink slime burger with cheese!
Great thread.
