I visited a friend on Memorial Day weekend and since I hadn't been to Denver in about 12 years, found the city remarkably different. It has a clean, safe and walkable downtown with plenty of beautiful parks and great bike trails. There are several bike rental stations (think Zip-Cars) around the city...who knew there was such a thing...no doubt helping to contribute to a very fit-looking population. I was amazed by the number of medical marijuana clinics (the smell of pot smoke was a several times a day ocurance) and the lack of diverstity seen on the streets. I hope you enjoy the tour as much as I did.

11) Red Onxy (a rose marble) was used extensively throughout the interior. Don't bother looking for red onyx coasters at Bed Bed, Bath & Beyond...the entire known world's supply was used in this building.
