Encouraging to see, though I (and I trust everyone else here) would have really liked to see greater progress along both sides of the Allegheny River by now. It's been very slow.
I would argue that if the Riverfront 47/Brilliant RR Bridge plans were able to truly commence, it would really help get things moving, spurring action on the south bank between Highland Park to Lawrenceville. A stupid and stubborn group of Aspinwall NIMBYs have been a thorn in the side of beneficial progress though. Sharpsburg, Shaler, Etna, Millvale, and PennDOT are pretty much ready to go with it.
