The video from the train may be my favorite thing you've posted, Imre. Stunning.

I'm not a Dubai booster exactly, but that video did make me want to see all that for myself!

I'd love to see more interior shots of the Burj...

What a perspective! You can really tell how tall the tower is when you're looking up from below.

I think the newly-planted palm trees underneath it are dead.

I don`t think so, they just have their leaves tied. It`s always done with palm trees for some reason, probably to protect them from wind before they grow some roots...
