Interesting and cool pics.

What is that food in shot #11?

Arizona's desert is more lush than Arabia's desert, probably because we get more rain.

extremely cool pix. The title is catchy: I reckon nobody associates Saudi Arabia with Winter. As for the camping part, I think of Bedouin tents.

Actually this is not the most lush part of the kingdoms desert , part of it get plenty of rainfall and snow also those areas are filled with baboon monkeys







the dish is basically rice cooked in chicken stock , the chicken is then friend in some oil and spices in a seperate pan with onions till golden brown and (Orbagene) spelling ? and whatever vegetable is available , then its all added ontop of the rice

Fascinating shots. Looks like you had some interesting weather too. How long does it take you to drive from Abu Dhabi to this part of Saudi Arabia?
