Amazing photos. Those houses facing narrow brick pathways look cozy.

Wow, you seem to have done a great job showing many different aspects of the city. Looks like Comcast is going to nicely fill in a gap in the skyline to give it that mountain-like appearance. Great job!!!

Excellent pics!

There's a lot to love about Philadelphia, and our love is an imperative. For all its great civic assets, architecture and history, there's that gnawing feeling that its fate hasn't been settled. Maybe it won't be Boston or Washington. Maybe it will be Detroit or Cleveland. The trend-lines seem positive overall, but you take nothing for granted.

I absolutely love the old streets with Federalist townhouses. I'm less enthralled with the newer condos in Rittenhouse Square. Some of the office blocks from the 60s are just deadening.

As wealth in this country flows westward to sunny and dopey places like Phoenix, Philadelphia will still have an incredible heritage to draw on. I suspect it will be this legacy that keeps Philadelphia in the top tier of cities in this century. There are only so many places that actually inspire awe. Philly is lucky in that way.

Looking at these pics is an out of body experience. Philly is one of the most impressive, underrated, underappreciated cities I've ever seen.
