you can really appreciate the glass and quality of the building from those angles. london always manages to get better and better!

Love that first shot with the two guys turning around to look up at the tower. Great moment.

Wow. The more of the cladding they put on the more the brilliance of the design is evident. This is going to be one of the finest towers on the planet. Fantastic.

My God that glass doesn't even look real. So reflective! All I can think of is the Bank of America Tower in NYC and how hideously grey its glass was, IMO. This cladding is beautiful.

i love the red tubes running horizontally. i never expected any form of red to show up on this tower!

I've never been the biggest fan of acute pyramidal architecture. Still, I'm finding some things to like in the Shard, even though it doesn't seem very English. They really need to discover their own style - weird, dildo-esque architecture like that egg-looking thing isn't the way to go, and the Shard doesn't seem very likely to inspire subsequent elaboration in other projects. But the Shard will make an interesting addition to the skyline. In fact, one could say that the Shard is basically creating the London skyline.
