It was one of the nicer hotels in Center City. I want to say it was the Renaissance? Or maybe the W? I don't really remember, except that it was a very, very swanky hotel!

This is cool. Where and what is it?

I'll definitely let you know when I get up to Boston, expat! As for where exactly this photo was taken, hopefully ColDayMan or volguus zildrohar can answer your question, for I honestly don't remember the exact street. All I know is that it was in Center City heading towards the Italian/Mexican market area, I believe actually it was heading down South St...

The hotel was the Loews (in the PSFS Building). And the junk sculpture is The Dream Garden by Isaiah Zagar on South Street.

Ahh, the Loews. Thanks for reminding me, Steve. I think by the time we were doing the Philly tour I was so mentally and physically burned out from Baltimore and NYC that my mind just wasn't accepting any more information!

pride, that's washington square. there's a restaurant on washington square with great patio seating next to the st james ... it's called washington square.
It's actually called Talula's Garden now, a Stephen Starr joint with the people from Talula's Table (very highly regarded restaurant in Kennet Square). Can't wait to try it out.
