Wow Tokyo is freaking awesome. My favorite city too. (Based on pictures)

Never heard of Tenerefe but that is an amazing beach. So many little huts!

^Believe me mate Tokyo is awesome - Japan in general is awesome - had it not been for their language and their long work weeks I would have immigrated years ago

Tenerife is part of the Canary islands located west of North Africa - it's owned by Spain and is a faviored holiday destination for Europeans especially in the winter as it's location makes the islands warm and sunny year round

That photo from Tokyo could be taken almost anywhere! Very anonymous - it would be impossible to guess were it's taken.

^much more Tokyo to come... with it's much more Japanese looking side

About the picture it's taken from a bridge leading to the park surrounding the Emperial Palace.. a really lovely place IMO!

It's hard to see in the picture but the trees there are very unique looking - very japanese

I hear about Tenerife pretty much every single day (ads in newspapers etc.).
I guess Europeans' and Americans' package tour destinations differ a bit.

Freki, since you like to travel & since you're from north-central Europe, I'm gonna call you the Haarlem Globetrotter.

To people who don't know Tenerife it's the volcanic island where they filmed the original Planet of the Apes desert scenes..

These days it's primarily a faved winter holiday destination for Europeans who miss some summer and warmth in the winter months..
It's fairly cheap and a short flight away 8 located west of the African continent.. and it's part of a group of islands called the canary islands..

The cities offers very little there - although there are some gems around - it's the sun, heat and clubs that attract people.. but the nature is very nice too - although a bit dry for a Scandinavian...

Whatever man, you're splitting hairs. Next you're gonna try and tell me that all white people don't look alike.

^I sure will - it's very easy to identify the region of Europe where people come from - in many cases even the country and part of it...

Anyway time for some New York City...
