Photo Contest #70 - Sweet Scenes (Apr 19)

Congratulations to Sawtooth and brickell #69 Spring.

They have chosen the following subject for the next round:

Sweet Scenes

You know you love the stuff, all those weird gooey shapes and colours. It makes your teeth rot just thinking about it. You get a little extra time to go find some and get snapping since I don't think this is a topic that a lot of people already have an image for.

As almost always:
- send a PM to HomeInMyShoes with your entry
- one entry per forumer, must be your own photo
- try not to enter a photo already entered in a previous contest
- maximum size is 800x600
- include the photo title in your message if you have and want a title
- entries must be in by April 19th (Saturday) midnight

I'll be Internet-less (I know sad isn't it) for most of this week which is the other reason you get a longer period. Wish me luck getting things connected again.

Peeps. Now this is the best contest ever. My kids will eat them after the photo. If I ever get around to buying some:

Where might one acquire these "peeps" of which you speak in Canada?

I've seen them at a candy store in the Junction (a hood in TO). You may want to try those candy stores like Sugar Mountain or independents.

This is an awfully specific theme. I don't really feel compelled to go out and find some of these things just to enter the contest.

I hope people enter in this one though. Can you imagine? Godzilla sized Peeps attacking the city thanks to forced prospective.

I have no idea what you are talking about, and the links posted doesn't work.

Do these work?

If this isn't working for our international people, how about changing it to Sweet Scenes?

Forget the contest, that last one's the winner.

Lol, funny, but I'm not going to do a special purchase and photo shoot just for this. Not like I would've won anyway though.

Wow, how many days without Internet? I felt so pathetic.

I've got to find some, but haven't found any. I might be forced to bake some.

OK, now I get what Peeps are. Even if I can't participate, I'm really looking forward to see what you'll come up with!
