Pittsburgh--Springtime in Shadyside

Shadyside is beautiful east end neighborhood of Pittsburgh filled with Victorian and Georgian Mansions, and in the spring, blossoming trees and flowers.

I love the way you composed these shots... the blossoms, flowers and leaves are so prominent

btw, someone's pumping a few million into this mansion to do something with it... but i can't remember now... it's posted somewhere in the Pittsburgh thread

^ Bed and Breakfast. It caught fire a few years ago that's why it's boarded up. Nice photos.

I was wondering what was going on with that place. I hoped it was just being fixed up and not torn down.

Great shots! One of Pittsburgh's most beautiful neighborhoods. I love the tight Victorian streets.

I think I saw some of your post on city-data's forum (the Mexican Warstreets?). They were awesome. I hope you post here more. Pittsburgh can never run out of neighborhood threads to showcase.

And I thought Shadyside was too shady to visit! jks haha I really wanted to reach out there when I was in town but didn't make it. I will DEFINATELY be checking it next time around!

Thanks for the tour... and the clarification! Shadyside is FAR from shady
