It's a bit different >> It's a Journey through Tibet
In May 2009, a friend and I went to Tibet. Tibet had just been reopened for tourists again after the April 2008 riots. Little did we know that we actually were some of the first few western tourists that managed to get all three necessary visas!
It was the most physically demanding as well as the most emotionally confusing journey I've ever made. The reason why this journey was so physically demanding was because we had to cover great distances at very high altitudes in a very short time.
