The project's owner, Tishman Speyer, still has another 2 years before construction will begin on 201 Folsom, so they have plenty of time to redesign that project as well. Let's hope they will because next to 300 Spear, 201 Folsom will almost appear second rate.
I was going to say this, but I found this back on the first page of this thread from February of 2005. With the real Infinity starting to look even nicer than the already impressive renderings, I am still wondering if there will be any new designs in the works for 201 Folsom? It's now almost three years since FourOneFive first questioned it in this thread.

I suspect 201 Folsom is on the back burner until the second Infinity tower is largely sold out and if that takes longer than hoped it could stay on the back burner for a few years after that.

Has it really been almost 3 years since I posted this? God, I feel f*cking old...

pretty much we just shouldnt let anything designed by heller manus get built as-is.
can we all say:
go arquitectonica!
This was taken on the walk into work today. I park in a lot nearby and I've been watching this one go up since they started. It is turning out to be a beautiful building.
Never heard that before. These are already reduced to 1/3 of original size. Any more and so much detail would be lost as to make them not worth posting.
Downtown Dave, I like your photos sizes just fine. If the photos are tall, I just use the scroll bar or wheel. Just as you mention, I prefer higher resolutions to see the detail that would otherwise be lost.
I counted the floors today, and unless I messed up, the forms are currently on 37 and 38. If so, the core should be just about done and they are very close to having all the floorplates done. I also noticed a ton of progress in the courtyard area just since Dave's photo on the 2nd. It looks almost ready to open (although I don't think it actually will for awhile).

Thanks, northbay! Yes, it is. I think I miscounted the other day because it looks like the floors are pretty much even with the roof of the other tower. So, I'd say they have the molds on floors 34 and 35 right now. And the core sticks up a little higher than the crown of the smaller tower. Just a handful of floors to go on this one.
