The board of trustees, Thursday, approved the initial rendering of the new Foster Auditorium plaza. The plaza, however, will not be on the northern side of the building, but instead on the southern side, facing Burke Hall. The southern side will be renovated to mirror the architecture of the northern side.
The official rendering and design will be approved in February.
Other construction projects included:
Demolition of the East Engineering Building behind Houser Hall will begin soon to make way for the next phase of the SEC (Science and Engineering Complex).
