I think this is one of the nicest vernaculars we have in North America. Victorian density, trees and front porches. Nothing nicer than walking home and saying hello to your neighbours who are having a drink on their front porch.

Most people hate the above ground Hydro wires more than the streetcar wires. the streetcar wires at least have an organized presence, the hydro wires are all over the place with rotting support poles and whatnot.
