Nocturnal Toronto

Picking up where the last one left off last summer, up to the present. For whatever reason (probably the general lack of daylight), 90% of these were taken after dark.

Fantastic set.

Love how the light contrasts the buildings:

Not sure if you're familiar with Daido Moriyama but some of this reminds me of his stuff.

Amazing set! Hot, muggy nights in Toronto have a certain vibe I haven’t really experienced anywhere else.

Had to look him up, but that's certainly a flattering comparison.

Thanks for the comments.

I really enjoyed this. Even though it plays every other city on earth in Hollywood movies, Toronto has a pretty distinctive look.

wow, thanks! that was fantastic. Reminded me so much of when I used to visit my great aunt in Toronto as a child in the 60's. She live on Kenilworth Ave in the Beaches and we used to walk along Queen St. E. at night (obviously a lot hipper and expensive now--lol). The "Dufferin Smoke Shop" sign was probably there even back then! those types of simple signs--many sponsored by Coca-Cola--have virtually disappeared in New York. This place bit the dust a couple of years ago--

Toronto is huge North American city, however, it feels like Tokyo due to its nature of achitecture.
