Great shots of a very interesting park! Its been years (decades, actually) since I've been there and your photos are a good reminder of WGSP's unique beauty.

Makes me think of the Delaware Water Gap, and Ricketts Glen and Ohiopyle S.P.s, here in Pennsy...great shot!

you shoulda entered any of these in the photo contest 86 for layers and I believe you woulda walked away with a win.
Reminds me of Stony Brook State Park further west in Dansville, I believe.

Spectacular scenery, and gorgeous photos.

I've heard about Watkins Glen, but had no idea how remarkable it is. It reminds me some of Ausable Chasm, where the Ausable River approaches Lake Champlain at Port Kent, NY. If you haven't been to that area, I recommend it highly along with a ferry ride across Lake Champlain to Burlington, VT.

Interesting to see what the race track is named after.
