Installment number 5 of the Euro tour. Unlike the previous sets that were from the summer and fall of 2010, these shots are from June, 2011. I had been to London less than a year earlier but was pretty unsatisfied with the shots I came away with. I decided to return to get a deeper experience of the city and hopefully snag some better photos. Rather than play tourist and visit the famous sites, I wandered the city in search of photo ops. If there are loitering laws in London, I'm pretty sure I broke all of them. I'd often wait in one spot to line up the right subject and background. Because of this I got harassed by security guards a lot. London isn't the friendliest place for photographers, especially in the city. My last night in the city, as I was walking near King's Cross, I witnessed a horrific act of two thugs stomping another mans face in with their boots. Other than that I had a lovely time. Before I left I grabbed a new lens, a Sigma 10mm HSM Fisheye. Enjoy!
tell you what man, okayyou in london is like the beatles in new york. you had bitches screaming on the tarmac at heathrow, dintcha.
some excellent specimens of photo-graphy all the way around, chappy. you managed to capture every good looking girl in england, too. the one nineties flava reposted is off the chain, and i dig the recurring theme of arches and arcades. killer thread.
