twelve more hours in san francisco

Part 1: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=165495
Part 2: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=165611

Last time we left off in the Haight-Ashbury disctrict. From there we head into Golden Gate Park:

Conservatory of Flowers

De Young Museum

Into the Pacific Heights area now; a really big synagogue:

Some bridge

National Cemetary or something

Palace of Fine Arts, again!

Cow Hollow?

Ferry Building

Steet Car MADNESS

A quick Bay Cruise

Bird MADNESS

Alcatraz MADNESS

Up Coit Tower

Sunset over Russian Hill

Second evening of the trip

Spent some time in City Light Booksellers

Thanks for staying till the end.

I'm taking requests again for larger images, lemme know which one and I'll upload a larger version to imageshack and post it up.

Stay tuned for day three... it was probably the day with the most variety.

Excellent. Don't recall seeing North Beach at night in an SF thread before. But I'm curious--did you photograph City Lights Bookstore because you know its history or because of the name?

FYI, the history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Lights_Bookstore

I came across it while looking for things to see/do in SF and read a little about it. It was in an area I already wanted to check out so I figured I'd go in and take a look. I bought this book: http://www.amazon.com/All-Over-Coffe.../dp/0872864561

I continue to be impressed with your photographic skills. I really love the dusk shots. The lights are coming on, but there is still some light in the sky. You really sense the energy of the city in those.

Always fun to see San Francisco. I've never seen the inside of the Ferry Bldg before, cool. It sure is a picturesque city. And this is one big a$$ sea gull:

Thanks for the shots tour.

That is one special city. I'd probably move there if I ever had a job offer. But I'm not living in too shabby of a city in the first place (even if I abhor winter), so going forward whatever happens happens.

Looking forward to the next set of photos!

All my threads from the last year are located in my signature

I posted a couple Vancouver tours a few years ago but I'm sure those are long gone.
