Virtual Earth - North American downtowns in 3 dimensions

With most of my Christmas shopping done and a blizzard dumping down snow all day, I haven't gone anywhere today. I started looking at the 3D images of downtowns on Microsoft Virtual Earth. I started looking at city after city and started saving screenshots. Now I have a bunch of aerials of North American downtowns, all to the same scale and similar angles. Of course I'm going to share them. I hope you all have widescreen monitors

mods - dunno what section this should be in since they're not photos, feel free to move it.

First, Canadian cities:

Toronto

Montreal

Calgary

Ottawa

Quebec City

Edmonton

Hamilton

They don't have 3D buildings done for Vancouver, as I'm sure some of you are wondering.

American cities:

New York midtown

New York downtown

Chicago

Los Angeles

San Francisco

Philadelphia

Miami

Atlanta

Houston

Minneapolis

Seattle

Dallas

There weren't any 3D buildings for any other countries. Feel free to add more cities, just keep them at the same scale (lower right on the pics) and similar angles.

Pretty cool stuff. Needless to say I'm quite disappointed Vancouver couldn't be amongst these.

The same place as Vancouver. The only other Canadian city I found was Niagara Falls.

Boston

Portland

Detroit

Phoenix

Baltimore

Sure... you can also turn-on aerials, zoomin, zoomout, change the tilt, etc. Here are a couple different shots of Manhattan:

Thanks for the topic Mister F

Another pic of Calgary with the textures on. I love having a 24" monitor... Too bad the model for the Calgary Tower is exceptionally shitty, especially when they did such a good job on the Saddledome and the Talisman Centre

And with a little bit of tweaking in Paint.net...
