Toronto - scenes from 2016

Breif summer interlude - Ward's Island. "Cottaging" is a popular pastime for Torontonians. Most travel up to Muskoka or other areas north of the city but for those lucky enough to live on the islands, their cottaging needs are met year round.

Wards Island beach

The islands are a car-free zone, so the streets are small able to accommodate bikes and pedestrians only

Holy crap, what a photo set. Is Toronto really this good? I mean, I go there all the time and everything, I see these vistas all the time, but...well...

I'm feeling love, and I don't know what to do about it.

Fantastic set! You know how to take photos that really do justice to this city and that show how it looks and feels to me every time I take a walk.

Great shots - for every time I've felt frustrated with Toronto lately this thread makes up for it. Toronto - home.

World class city! My favorite Toronto photo thread to date. It's impossible not to capture what appears to be a really large, cosmopolitan, thriving global city, however, this thread puts it in a whole other league. Very very impressed with what I'm seeing here!
