J-MAN, I closed one eye and backed about a metre away from my screen. That worked fairly well!

If the P.A.T.H system were to include it's disconnected sisters at College Park, and Yorkville like the RÉSO does, it would be around 33km without the new connections that are u/c. P.A.T.H is 27 continuous km of foot travel, no subway/metro needed.
The RÉSO is completely connected. The bits that fly off such as UQÀM, Concordia etc. are not considered part of the network. They are included on maps because it would make no sense not to include them; they are part of the underground network but not RÉSO.

It's not that P.A.T.H. doesn't need subway connections only that there are no subway connections available. The lack of downtown Toronto subway coverage is well known: "I'm at Union. I think I'll go.. north!".

Regina also has many skywalks downtown,, 11 to be precise. You can get almost anywhere without ever having to go outdoors. Its nice when its minus 40.

According to RÉSO sites such as ( http://www.aviewoncities.com/montreal/reso.htm ) and other RÉSO links easily found online or linked through Wiki, Berri-UQUAM and Guy-Concordia are indeed sections of RÉSO adding to it's total length.

P.A.T.H. may only have a hand full of subway connections but that just goes to show how massive it is. As stated before if P.A.T.H were to include disjointed section like RÉSO it would be the largest hands down. At the moment as a single connection of tunnels Guiness recognizes it as the worlds largest underground complex. And as I stated in my last post. As soon as our new buildings come online P.A.T.H will blow RÉSO out of the water with or without including sections not directly connected to the Core section.

Dude, you take this too seriously. P.A.T.H is bigger than RESO. You are happy now?

Haha that was one of the lamest rants I have ever heard on SSP, and there is some serious competition there.

In fact this entire discussion has become lame, can't we just post some picutres of evevated pedestrian bridges without degrading into a regional pissing match.

sorry stupid question.

It's just funny reading some peoples posts where they ad in false claims. I honestly could care less, but when it's so easy to prove somebody wrong or to educate others I can't help myself. Also left coaster, that was hardly a rant.

Guilty as charged.

Molson Export, is that a picture of you?

In order to ward off any future panic attacks, let's agree that Toronto has the biggest EVERYTHING! Satisfied?

I'll let you to battle it out with the Texans! If they give you any trouble, just show them this:

The only one that you can easily find images of. I can think of about 10 around the city, this one connecting The Bay to the Eaton Centre being the most heavily used day to day by the public.

Sorry if I point out false info on the site. From now on I'll just sit back and let people believe everything they read. It's fine by me.

Texans have bigger waist lines then Torontonians, possibly bigger guns as well.

From now on, I'll only believe everything that's written by you!

Texans may have bigger waistlines and guns but I'm certain they're not as 'World Class' as Toronto's!

Your choice man, or you can do a little research an educate yourself a bit. It's totally your call though.

I do agree what you say about Texans and world class though, I'm sure all Canadian cities are more world class then most of Texas.

Very original. You'll do well here.

Anyways, the only way to resolve this issue is to actually go out and measure the two systems. Who's up for it? I'll do Toronto.

Relative to it's smaller downtown core, I'd argue that Halifax has a more extensive skywalk system than either Toronto or Montreal.

Trash talk on a "skywalk" thread. Wow.

I'm honoured that you've offered to educate me, I can finally quit school and stop travelling!

One thing though, you may want to visit Texas sometime before you begin making assumptions about it.
