I finally found a picture of Halifax's main Skywalk;

It stretches over the Cogswell Interchange connecting Purdys Wharf and the Casino to Scotia Square and the bus terminal;

Couple shots of Monctons TWO amazing sky walks haha...taken by me this past October

These are primarily for private use, although they are open to the public.

Saint John is the clear pedway leader in NB, they have a fairly large public system for the size of the city, I would argue they have the largest on a per capita basis.

Heres a map of the system they have there:

i was looking east from inside the convention center in winnipeg last night and noticed a "skywalk" between two taller buildings. not sure how high exactly but it looked like it was close to, if not higher than 16 stories up.

Can someone get out then and get a picture??? We need a new "highest", and it would be sweet if the Peg can steal the title from the Smoke.

Wasn't there some sort of skywalk between towers at Fort Garry Place? Or was I actually looking at the Holiday Towers without realizing it?

No those three towers are only connected by their podium however there is a skywalk connecting the Fort Garry hotel since the hotel gives their guests access to the pool and gym at Fort Garry Place (only 2-3 floors up)

I'll see if I can dig up some photos of Ottawa's skywalks. Most of our skywalks are for our transitway stations, and the two we have at the Rideau Centre.

You are just able to notice it here, along with one of Winnipeg's well known surface lots.

Ottawa's transit stations are jam packed with skywalks that go over the Transitway and sometimes connect to malls (unless they count as pedestrian bridges).

This is picture (and all pictures I post) come from Google searches. This one is Blair station. Judging from the bright fresh red paint and the bus, I'd say this dates back from when it was brand new.

Skywalks big enough for office space goes over Maisonneuve Boulevard in Hull (bellow). The other big Hull Federal Complex, Terrace de la Chaudière, has skywalks connecting 3 office buildings and a hotel.

Our hospitals usually have skywalks to newer buildings or nearby hospitals. Of course the Rideau Centre-Hudson's Bay Skywalk as previously mentioned by harls a few years back.

In Ottawa's Central Business District, most buildings are connected by surface links or podiums (all within the same city block, they are not connected to buildings across the street). The Place de Ville complex has an underground concourse connecting its 4 office buildings (1.1 million square feet) and two hotels (900 rooms) on two city blocks. This complex will have a direct connection to the Lyon subway station once completed in 2017-18.

By a country mile, Canada's best sidewalk is Wellington in Ottawa. From the width, to the materials used, to opulence of the lamps/wall, nothing approaches the elegance and grandeur of that sidewalk. You know instantly you're in a place of power and influence.

The thread is skywalks, for like fully covered bridges between buildings, not sidewalks. The one you posted is really nice though. The Chateau Laurier looks gorgeous too.
