A #10yearchallenge shot of Argyle Street in Halifax. It is a bit unfair since they are winter vs. summer shots. There were seasonal patios 10 years ago but now a bunch of them are permanent structures.

One thing that's not a positive change is that a row of buildings on the left all got the same cheap and bland red paint job. I guess they're all owned by the same landlord? A lot of brick buildings in Halifax are covered in stucco too.

If that is their thinking you think they would at least run a lawnmower over them to mulch them up.

If not it looks like a mess and will make the lawn muddy beneath.
