That is interesting, indeed. One of the buildings that would be replaced is East Engineering. Despite the "generic" name, it has been around for many decades. I had a student office there in 1990, and my mother had an office in the building when she was a student in the 1950s.
The university has been talking about replacing that building for as long as I can remember.
I'm very surprised that the Kilgore House appears to be missing in the master plan. Here's a link detailing its history:
