Hermann Park already has two gardens. While a more attractive/touristy location in the west side of the loop would be nice, the natural setting of the Glenbrook golf course seems unmatched. I'm actually happy it's here. I'm sure it will further drive people to realize the value of our bayous, in an area of the inner loop that isn't seen as valuable the west side, yet. Just looking at the bigger picture is very exciting, together with the Greenways 2020 initiative and the Buffalo Bayou project, the Botanical Gardens are just adding to making the Bayou City an actually appealing and aesthetically attractive city.
