A MonkeyRonin spread. It's been too long. Gorgeous! Love the Rush Lane one. Feels real and unpretentious.

This has a strong Montreal feel to it.

Looks like it is straight out of St Henri. There is even a "Metro" sign!

Yeah, the mascot bear smoking one is great too. I laughed out loud at it twice. It's just perfect especially with the passers-by not really focused on him.

I'll post some of my own pics later, but here's a few different takes of Victoria.

You don't see this every year.. but this year, we had snow - totally changes the look and feel.

On the weather theme, Victoria just ended the new record at the airport for consecutive days without measurable rain at 54 days as it rained last night. Beat the previous record of 53 days back in 1986. Also in the last couple of days the forest fire haze finally lifted after about 10 days. Again, another unusual look, photo by LindayMac.

Continuing the theme of not every day.. how about one of your classy submarines off the coast? photo by Paul Riox

Downtown lawn bowling club.. although it looks like they set it up for croquet in this pic? Photo by Isaac Hilman.

Rooftop volleyball at the Strathcona. Photo by Alesha joy

And finally Deadpool in front of Hatley Castle for the upcoming sequel. Photo from the Times-Colonist:

Hiked to the top of the Southside Hills this morning. I may love it even more than Signal Hill.

That's them there on the horizon...

The road ends at Fort Amherst, from which you access Deadman's Trail. It runs from Fort Amherst to Cape Spear, but I only go about an hour up and over the hill.

There are fairy forts on the hill. It's very important not to disturb them and always have bread in your pocket when alone - otherwise, they'll get ya. BS, obviously, but I tell ya... I genuinely do get uneasy if I forget the bread. It's just ingrained.

The reflection of the harbour in the buildings is beautiful.

Cool pic. Almost could be a mashup... Ontario in the front, BC in the back.

Martin, wonderful set of Mtl.

If there were more hours in a day, I would probably spend some of that time enjoying Montreal photographs.

Here's a view of South End Halifax. The foreground is the Halifax Grammar School, which is getting a new addition.
