Wow!! Love it!! I've never been to Boise, but through your lens, I'm seriously itching to want to make it up there sometime in the near future!!

Nice little city, big town, hardly metropolis.

Boise is a metropolis in the sense that the city is the largest for hundreds of miles in any direction and is the major urban area for Southern Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada.

Boise is known to "punch above its weight".

And we have excellent beer

Nice pictures. I was wondering where the nature pictures were, but they came along after a little bit. I've heard that Boise is a pretty fun city to visit!

Thanks!

I would agree the city is fun. We have an impressive variety of culture and a great mix of nature that blends with our urban landscape.

Boise is also the base camp for the incredible adjoining wilderness and whitewater. McCall, The River of No Return Wilderness, Sawtooth Wilderness, and Sun Valley are all nearby.

Ha ha ha, so are all infrastructures to climb the mountain without using one's legs, including those for the winter.
We all want to enjoy the way down; the only way to go if you're too lazy to walk.

Man, I wish I could climb the Alps on a mountain bike, but my thighs burn so awfully, it's unbearable.
You got to be an ancient god like Hercules or Thor to make it.
Even professional cyclists have to take dopes to go through the worst stages in the mountain, just to please their fans and keep their sport up.
Seriously, that's inhuman.

Seriously, that's inhuman.

there are plenty of people here who make the journey from Boise to Bogus on their bikes. that's 16 miles and nearly 5000 feet of elevation gain.

and they do it for "fun".

that's a whole level of crazy I can't relate to...

Great shots, you show off Boise well! My brother and his family moved there recently and love it. Great little downtown, lots of restaurants and bars, and so clean clean clean!
