Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them (I was beginning to wonder if anyone paid any attention to the last set of pics).

Nice photos, Randy!

As I've said before, one of Birmingham's greatest assets is its neighborhoods.

Also, I didn't realize BSC was so big!

The Lyric is at 18th Street and 3rd Ave North across from the Alabama Theater. The proposed entertainment district is adjacent to the BJCC... which is quite a distance.

No, no... which area is Bogue asking? Is he asking about The Forge Entertainment District or 3rd Avenue North? I can't tell?

Thanks though

18th St and 3rd Ave N

I know you meant 18th, but just wanted to make sure Bogue was confused about the location.

I love that house too, although I found it a little creepy as a kid. Thought it looked like a haunted mansion.

Here's an aerial view of that house:

.

It's located down the street (Carlisle Rd.) in the top right corner of this English Village aerial:

Here's what I know about the Entertainment District at the BJCC "The Forge"

Also, there was an article in the paper this week saying the developer believes he would have an easier time finding funding if he knew the dome would be located across the street.

Also, the BJCC announced plans to erect the Magic City sign over 23rd street.

You got me? Seems like everybody across the state is waiting for announcements. Everything is stalled

The Concert Hall renovation is supposed to be complete now.

I hope it all happens.
