We on Bedford Basin reached a high of 6.4 yesterday in full sunshine with a stiff north wind that abated somewhat by late afternoon. Our low was -0.9 this morning at 6. At 8am we're at 1.7 in full sunshine and calm conditions. The forecast high today is 10. It was a beautiful morning to be up and see the start of the day.

+5C and sunny in Moncton at 10 AM, only getting to +7C this afternoon. There is a persistent cold NW wind suppressing the temperature. It was as cold as -4C overnight.

Follows me everywhere b'y. Spencer Street hasn't been in the news since I moved away from it, and my new area is now the one making headlines lol

At least it's sunny.

Cloudy and cold. Used the app this morning and caught a few new to me ones. Never heard anything unusual.

Feepa, I assume red dot means it's not sure? What's the little beige purse mean?

I'm not feepa but I believe the little icons mean the bird is rare to the area or for the time of year. Biege purse being somewhat rare. Red, quite rare.

14C and sunny yesterday. Still on the cool side for this time of the year but not a bad afternoon.

Low of -1C (wind chill of -2) yesterday morning. That is the 3rd freeze in 5 days. Definitely rare for this time.

Warmspot was Estevan, SK at 22.4C

Warmest low was Howe Soound - Pam Rocks, BC at 9.5C

The garden is starting to come back to life. Ordered a mulcher instead of tossing 8-12 large yard waste bags of Japanese knotweed every year lol

Calm day with light showers.

Nesting swan

In addition to that swan, this is what the Merlin app picked up. Definitely cool to just have the app open while you're walking around and see what it's hearing. Also cool to put a face to some of the sounds.

Up to 50 different ones on the dot, now.

Overcast and rain then around 4pm the sun came out. I found the strength to hit ਉੱਚ ਪਾਰਕ this evening as it warmed up to mid 50s. Gas is 169.9 here.

Heavy clouds and rain all day. Makes for a lousy Saturday, but sure saturates the spring colours.

20C and mainly sunny with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon.

Low of 5C this morning.

The warmspot was Sarnia, ON at 26.8C. That is the new highest temperature in the country this year.

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 12.7C. If it holds, it would be the warmest low this year. Considering it is 19C at midnight, chances are more than 99% good.

Humidex reading of 31 in Windsor and Sarnia today. First 30+ humidexes in 2024.
