Centennial Place 2 is the new home to the Energy Resources Conservation Board an agency of the Alberta government. Centennial Place 3 is likely to be under construction soon developed by Oxford. CP3 will share the block with Shaw Court which used to be called Shell Court.

The lawn is a green roof over the parking garages. The 4 apartment buildings on the cul de sac were built between 1955 and 1957 using lift slab construction which hasn't been used in Canada since.

While Calgary has had a soggy spring, forest fires to the north have devastated large areas including the fire that burnt one third of the town of Slave Lake which has now become the second costliest disaster in Canadian history for insurance claims.

That second to last one is amazing, damn... For a metro area of this size that is one incredible skyline.

Beautiful thread--Such an amazingly large downtown for a city (metro) of a bit more than a million. Calgary looks so pristine, modern and affluent. A liitle more grit probably wouldn't hurt!
