This thread is Disko. (full of win)

One thing I hate about Dallas is all the snow, though.

Gio: You know how we do.

PA: I do indeed drive a Pink Cadillac, but really, it's just pearl. It's only pink around sunset.

Great thread. My sister just moved to Dallas, so I'll be visiting someday!

Also, GO MAVS!!! (I'm Jazz fan, but like any fan who doesn't ride a bandwagon, I want Miami to go down!)

Damn, you've deprived us having been gone for far too long. You truly are a Master behind the camera! I hope this means you'll be posting more threads in the future.

Wow, I think that center clock tower/turret on the courthouse looks AWESOME. Did they build that recently? I haven't been to Dallas in a while. GREAT set of pictures

Great set!

Seeing the pictures of the Mavs' stadium made me realize that Dallas has been home to the World Series, the Super Bowl, and now the Finals all in the past year...does anyone know if any other city has hosted the three biggest championships in the country in one year? If so, when? It has to be a major economic boost to the area to be home to all three of those events in such a short span.

Not quite the same, but, Denver had the World Series in 07, then the DNC in 2008, NCAA Frozen Four in 2008, NCAA Basketball regionals in 2008, and a bunch of other stuff. It was a crazy ass year, you know, when there are like 5 national events plus the usual stuff going on. A perfect storm of stuff to do.
