What other city can compare? The quality and quantity of muscular late 19th and early 20th century architecture can't be matched anywhere. Thanks to the skill of the tradesmen that immigrated to this city we're left with such amazing streetscapes. Let's hope the city does the right thing and preserves these neighbrohoods.

Awesome pix!

Great part of New York. I wouldn't really classify it as "Lower Manhattan" though, I usually call the dividing line either Houston Street or 14th Street.
