(Metro) Might become more profound in the next 10 years (the changes) in terms of the core. I hope Houston reaches 3 million in the core fast. I think Dallas in the next 20 years will become the 3rd largest U.S. metro.
Who cares how many people are in the city limits? Houston is approaching 2.5 million in the city limits and 7 million in the metro. If it wanted, it could have well over 3 million if not 4 million in the city via its ETJ.

Houston is a big city by every definition. If you wanted to say "next New York or LA," that'd be different.

Anyways, I hope I didn't derail this thread.

Are you sure that's not Niagara Falls? It's just as tall and in a similar direction but closer. Usually what you see across the lake from the GTA is N-F.

Plus, I think the curvature of the earth at 55 miles would prevent Houston being seen from Galveston or vice versa.

That and Galveston only has one tower of any notable size and only one other set of landmarks that stand out (the Moody Gardens pyramids). Even from the air, the only thing that stands out about Galveston is the shape of and the fact it's an island.

From Galveston's tallest building you would just barely see Houston's tallest buildings peeking above the horizon.

Sunny Isles Beach is separated from downtown by 13 miles | 21 kilometers with 10 skyscrapers over 500+ feet | 152+ meters built & U/C .
It is Florida's second tallest skyline .

Why the pictures of Dubai and NYC? There's only one skyline in each picture.

This is an aerial photo; not a skyline.

Isn't this thread about multiple skylines in one shot? Not about one skyline in one shot.

That has both London skylines in that photo, so it counts.
